One branch of my tree can be traced to Port Royal Acadians that were removed to New England in 1755 but eventually settled in L'Acadia, Quebec. My gg-grandmother Sophia Granger, who was married to Louis Gedeon Metivier, lived in L'Acadia. Her line can be traced to Laurent Granger and Marie Landry, a pioneer family of Port Royal, NS. [edit]
