I am able to pick up the Gooldy family trail in Virginia in the late 1700s. Frederick Gooldy married Bridget "Biddy" Brown in 1791 in Botetourt Co Virginia and spent their married lives in what would finally be called Bedford County. At times their land was in Lunenberg and perhaps they lived even in Campbell County but that is all yet to be determined. Chancery records indicate he was alive in 1834 and in Bedford County. No mention of wife. [edit]
