Charles Abernathy was a Virginia colonist.

Charles Abernathy was born around 1750 in Virginia. He was a son of John Abernathy, Sr. and Lucy Mildred Harwell.[1]

He married first Elizabeth Ann Harwell daughter of Samuel Harwell and Ann Jackson. He married second Elizabeth Davenport nee Johnson after the bond date of October 14, 1786,[2] bondsman; Harbert Abernathy; witness; Joshua Abernathy.
