According to Kerns p. 246 , Rachel was half-niece of Jacob, as Jacob was half brother of Rachel's father, William. Couple said to have had 10 children. There appear to have been a number of Rachels so there may be some confusion here. Also I doubt that John Sr. was Jacob's father as he'd have been quite elderly when still having children.
