Private Benjamin Adams served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Served in the Revolutionary War in Capt. Samuel Douglass's company, Col. James Prescott's regiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775. [1] [2] [3]

Benjamin Adams was born in 1752 in Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of Capt. Daniel Adams Jr. and Kezia (Brooks) Adams. [4]

Benjamin married Mary Stone. [4]

They had these children, the first born in Townsend and the rest born in Ashby, Massachusetts: [4]

  1. Benjamin Adams, b. 16 Aug 1779.
  2. Polly Adams, b. 17 Oct 1786.
  3. Samuel Adams, b. 12 Sep 1789.
  4. Betsey Adams, b. a twin, 7 Mar 1792.
  5. Keziah Adams, a twin, b. 7 Mar 1792.

Benjamin died in 1830 in Clarendon, Rutland County, Vermont, United States aged ~78. [5]
