Birth: Elizabeth was born the 9th of the 1st month (March) 1665, daughter of Captain John Adams and Elizabeth in Flushing, Long Island.^[1]

Marriage: on 1, 6, 1692/3 (6 March 1692/3), William Hollinshead and Elizabeth Adams (described only as the daughter of John Adams) were ganted a certificate to marry by the Burlington Monthly Meeting.^[2] William Hollinshead Sr. married Elizabeth Adams, daughter of Captain John Adams and Elizabeth (?), on 23 March 1692/93 at the house of John Adams, Chester Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.

Death: 30 December 1744.

He was the son of John Hollinshead Sr. and Grace Scott.2,3 William Hollinshead Sr. accompanied the immigration of John Hollinshead Sr. and Grace Scott circa August 1678 to West Jersey Colony, New Jersey; He came "with family."3,5,6 William Hollinshead Sr. accompanied John Hollinshead Sr. and Grace Scott when John and Grace relocated before 7 September 1680 and came to reside in Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey.

 : William Hollinshead Sr. witnessed the Will of George Hollinshead on 19 February 1755; In his will he states that "my son James must keep on maintaining my father William."9

 : William Hollinshead Sr. died after 19 February 1755 at Burlington County, New Jersey. He was still alive when mentioned in the will of son George, dated 12, 19, 1755.13
