Just curious- if the bio here shows that Jacob and Judah had only Parker and the second marriage shown here does not list Elijah or Isaac, why are they attached as children?

Also, my records do not show a second wife and there are no sources here that prove the second wife. Do any sources exist? Thanks!

Adkins-6512 and Adkins-2806 appear to represent the same person because: same name and family

According to the Adkins Family of Virginia which draws off of 2 main sources mentioned in William Atkinson and Elizabeth Parker's profiles: Grace Gregory's Book of Rememberance and the Adkins Family of Virginia by Jane A Leavell.

For Jacob Adkins (William V., John Thomas, John Thomas, Thomas, Henry) was born in 1725 i Henrico Co. VA. and died in 1791. He married Judah in Halifax Co. VA. They had one child: Parker Adkins B: 1763 Franklin Co, VA D: 11 May 1857, Raleigh Co, VA.

The other names listed here as his children are his sibling's or other relation's names I humbly suggest.

HI Jeanette, I recently had a GEDmatch and Family Finder DNA match with someone whose family tree shows they descend from Jacob and Judah Adkins through their son John A. Adkins, b 1775 Virginia and died 1822 Adair Co., KY. Since he is not shown as their child on this profile thought I should ask if you have research that shows he should be added??
I don't know if you are still working on WikiTree, but I found your message on this profile while researching my Adkins line. Descendants of Adkins brothers William (b 1777 Surry, VA d 1870 Carroll, MO), Harry Roland (b 1784 VA 1852 Carroll, MO) and Joseph (b 1788 VA d. 1867 Carroll, MO) did the Big-Y 700 at FTDNA . Our unique Haplogroup is I-FT369107, a branch off I-Z45261. We have been looking for a male descendant of the other brother John (b 1775 Virginia and died 1822 Adair Co., KY) to have them do the Big Y. We have been searching for the parents of our Four Brothers for at least a decade. Is there any documentation that shows John is the son of Jacob & Judah? While John died in Kentucky, the majority of his children and their families followed their uncles and their families to Missouri.

Adkins-3301 and Adkins-2806 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same Profiles, a mad merge mixed the son Sherrod and made him the son of Jacob's sister and Jacob stover.
