Biography
When Nancy Adkins was born in 1793 in Montgomery County, Virginia, her father, Hezekiah, was 34 and her mother, Mary, was 25. She married John Barrett on November 19, 1811, in Cabell County, West Virginia. She had five children by the time she was 24. She died on April 1, 1851, in Hancock County, Indiana, at the age of 58.
Marriage ended when husband passed away.
