Lucille was born in 1906[1]. She was the daughter and only child of Cortis Aiken and Mildred Powell. She was described as very very short in stature.
In 1910, Lucille lived with her parents and maternal grandparents in Richford[2]. Her mother passed away when Lucille was 12 (in 1919). On the 1920 Census, Lucille was shown living with her widowed father and with her maternal grandparents[3].
On June 8, 1921 in Richford, Vermont, her father re-married, so Lucille gained a step-mother in the household. In the 1930 Census, Lucille continued to live in Richford at home with her father and step-mother[4]. Status quo for the 1940 census[5]. Lucille worked in Richford as a banking clerk.
Lucille never married.
She passed away in 1960, at the age of 53, of a cerebral hemorrhage after several years of bad health[6].
