Biography

When Archibald Aikman was born on 23 April 1859 in Cambusnethan, Lanarkshire, his father, Archibald, was 34 and his mother, Barbara, was 34. He married Margaret Cowie on 23 November 1883 in Shotts, Lanarkshire. They had three children during their marriage. He died on 14 April 1935 in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, at the age of 75.
