DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jacob by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jacob:

*My sources tell me Susanna Skaggs married Blackburn Akers later in life as a second husband and had no children with him. Her only children may have been Witts.

Akers-2570 and Akers-2571 appear to represent the same person because: Someone accidentally created a profile for a father of Jacob named Jacob, but his father was actually named Thomas. Since this is a profile of someone who didn't exist let's just merge it to the Jacob that did exist.
