Annie (Albury) Rosam is part of a Bahamian family.
Annie was born in 1863. She was the daughter of Phillip Albury and Mary Sawyer. In 1870, the family was living in Key West, Florida. Anna had four siblings at the time - Joseph, Mary, Davis and Cornelia.[1]
The family was still in Key West in 1880, but Joseph and Mary were no longer in the home.[2]
Annie married Charles Henry Rosam on 20 Mar 1886 in Monroe County, Florida.[3] In 1910, they were living in Key West and had three children at home (Merville, Ione, and Eugene). Her hsuband, Charles, was a cigar maker, and her son, Merville, was a trolley car conductor.[4]
By 1920, her son, Merville, had married a woman named Carrie, and he and his wife and two children (Elizabeth and Mervil) were living with Annie and Charles. Their daughter, Ione, had also married (to an Ashe) and was living with her 7 year old son, William, in the home.[5] Charles was still a cigar maker, but Merville was now a chauffeur and Ione a teacher.
Annie's husband passed away in 1926. By 1935, she was living in the household of her son Merville.[6] She was still living with them in 1940.[7]
She passed away in 1941. Burial was in the Key West Cemetery in Key West, Monroe County, Florida.[8] She shares a headstone with her husband, Charles.
