Ruth Alden Married to Samuel Sprague in the year 29 Nov 1694 • Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Samuel is the son of John and Ruth (Bassett) Sprague. He was chosen constable on 06 Mar 1700, and town clerk 16 Mar 1709. He probably a carpenter by occupation, at the town records for 1708 show his receipt for 180 pounds in full for erecting the meeting house in Duxbury.. He moved to Rochester about 1710, and died there 25 Jul1740.[4][5][6]
