NOTE: Have seen posted on the internet and at ancestry.com that Marydied Jan. 1936 in Scurry Co., TX., in looking at the actual death cert.(online at familysearch.org ) for this Mary E. Davis, it shows her as awidow (Franklin died in 1945) and it also shows her father as Geo.McGrady, and it shows her as being born in MO., Dec. 23, 1850, therefore,this is not Franklin Davis's wife, Mary E. Allen Davis.
