I'm looking for parents for Frances Lahew, but am very confused about all the William Allens in Virginia at this time. There seem to be two different William Allens, but on internet genealogy sites the wives are all scrambled about. Plus there are William Allen Jr's and Sr's and their wives seem scrambled about. To add to the confusion, this page lists a William Jr as both Frances's brother and father (though obviously different people). Some internet sites have her brother's wife as being her mother, or her stepmother as being her mother, etc.

Given all the confusion, are we reasonably sure that the parents listed here for Frances Lahew are correct?
