Biography
Rowenia Cathern Allen, daughter of Shelton Earl Allen and Victoria Elbadore OMary, born on Feb. 20, 1888 in Saratoga, Carbon, Wyoming, USA 1900 US Census and died on Feb. 8, 1960 in Imperial, Nebraska.
At the age of 10, Rowenia moved with her family to Rogers, Ark. After the death of her husband Joseph Reigbley in 1919, she and her family moved to Haigler, NE and later to Benkelman.
She married 1st Joseph Reigbley on Dec. 31, 1907.
Children with Joseph
Opal Reigbley was born on Aug. 18, 1910 in Rodgers, Ark. and died on an unknown date. Pearl (Reigbley) Newman was born on Dec. 1, 1914 in Joplin, Missouri and died on an unknown date. Donavine (Reigbley) Catron was born on Apr. 6, 1917 in Joplin, Missouri.
She married 2nd, Robert Henry Merklin on Jun. 20, 1923. Robert Henry was born on Jun. 9, 1896 in Cheyenne, Kansas, United States and died on Nov. 30, 1974 in Benkelman, Dundy, Nebraska, United States.

Cathern Merklin was born on Oct. 20, 1923 and died on Feb. 20, 1987 in Washington, DC. Robert Eugene Merklin was born on Jun. 28, 1924. DeLorcs (Delores) Merklin was born on Feb. 21, 1927; Roberta Merklin was born on Dec. 14, 1928. Nordia (Norida) Zink [Merklin] was born on Feb. 13, 1930 .
