Biography

James Allen was enumerated at Post Office Hudson, White Oak, McLean County, Illinois for the July 18, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as a laborer and born 1844 in Illinois as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Elizabeth Peeler, male John Peeler, female Elanor Peeler, female Sarah Peeler and female Elmira Peeler.[1]
