James was born in 1837, the son of Joseph Allen and Mary Odgers. He was baptised on the 22 October 1837 at Gwennap, Cornwall, England. [1]
In 1874, James Henry Allen married Mary Eustice Lethlean.[2]
He passed away in 1894, aged 57.[3]
