Buried 4 Jul in Park City MT. In 1889 married Jacob Harding who died 5 Mar 1908 in Lincoln NE. They came to US, first to Lincoln. In 1908 she moved to Montana with her 6 children. In Montana, her second marriage was to John Mohrland. He died in 1921. On 6 Mar 1924 she had a stroke and a second stroke 25th May. She's survived by 5 children, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

• OBIT: Laurel Outlook June 11, 1924 Katherine Mohland called to Last Rest_Funeral Services Held in German Congregational Church — Many Pay Last Respects. Special to the Laurel Outlook_--Park City, June 10 — A large number of friends gathered at the home of John Hardung to pay the last respects to his mother, Mrs. Katherine Mohland, who died Monday morning of paralysis. The funeral procession gathered at the ranch home and proceeded to the German Congregational Church where services were held at 2 o’clock, Rev. George Batt of Laurel, preaching._ Mrs. Mohland was born in Russia in 1862 and came to American 21 years ago, and has been a Park City resident for the past 13 years. Mrs. Mohland’s husband died here in 1921 and also a son, James Mohland died in Billings the same year after undergoing an operation. A number of children survive her, being: John Mohland of Hardin; George Mohland, Casper, Wyo.; Godfrey, Alice Hardung of Park City, and Marie Hardung who is a Billings high school student. A brother, Henry Amend and sister, Mrs. R. L. Rohn of Lincoln, Neb., also survive her. All other relatives are in Russia. The esteem in which Mrs. Mohland was held was exemplified by the great number of the out of town friends present at the funeral and also the great number of floral tributes. She was a good neighbor and kind and faithful mother.

Catherine (Amend) Mohland was a Volga German.
