Catherine Ann Lough, 85, of Fort Madison, IA and formerly of Waveland, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1926 in Ottumwa, IA to Thomas Samuel & Ina Catherine McCart Anderson. ON January 19, 1945 she married Parke Aker Lough in Ottumwa, IA. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1996. She was a housekeeper and cook most of her life. She enjoyed her animals. Survivors include 2-brothers: John M. (Ruth) Anderson of Fort Madison, IA & David Anderson of Ottumwa, IA; 2-sister-in-laws: Juanita Anderson of Ottumwa, IA & Betty Anderson of Fort Madison, IA; 1-brother-in-law: Michael Shewry of Ottumwa, IA; nieces & nephews; great nieces & great nephews; great-great nieces & great-great nephews. King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Fort Madison, IA is in charge of local arrangements. Macledt Funeral Home in Waveland, IN is in charge of the Indiana arrangements. A memorial has been established for the Fort Madison Health Center and contributions may be left at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory in Fort Madison.
