Biography

Walter Anderson was born on 2 July 1848 in Selkirk, Selkirkshire, Scotland, the son of Sarah (Emond) Anderson and George Anderson.

In 1851, he was living in Selkirk.^[1]

Walter migrated to Australia, arriving in Geelong, Victoria on 21 February 1855.^[2]

He married Jane Wilkinson in 1875 in Victoria.^[3] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
