- Wijtske Andries was born in 1779 in Rottevalle, the daughter of Andries Tjeerds and Hiltje Petrus. At age 26 she married 36 year old Klaas Brands, the widower of her sister Fopkjen. She died on August 9, 1831 in Rottevalle when she was 52 years old.
