Edith was born in 1883 in Clapham, Surrey, England, the daughter of Frederick Angel and Eliza Parry.[1] She was christened on 1 April 1888 at Tooting Graveney, Wandsworth, England. [2]
At the age of 24, along with her sister Maria age 27, they sailed from England aboard the Empress of Ireland, arriving at Quebec City, Quebec, Canada in May 1908. She was listed as a dressmaker and Maria was a draper.[3]
Edith married Harold Fletcher.
Edith passed away in 1966.
DEATHS: Fletcher, Edith. On Sept 9th, 1966 at the Montreal General Hospital, Edith Reeve, beloved wife of Harold Fletcher and dear mother of Kathleen (Mrs. E Lach), Gladys (Mrs E. E. Berlein), Winnifred (Mrs N Haldenan) and Joseph Fletcher. Funeral was held privately Saturday from the Chapel of Joseph * Wray & Bro., 1234 Mountain St[4]
