David Anthony was an early Quaker settler at the Easton monthly meeting in New York.[1] He was born 6d 3mo 1747 [6 May 1747] at Dartmouth, Massachusetts.[2][3] He was the son of William and Alice of Dartmouth.[4]
He married Judith Hicks, daughter of Thomas and Judith Hicks of Dartmouth, on 22d 10m 1767.[4]
David was received on certificate at the Nine Partners monthly meeting from the Dartmouth monthly meeting on 21d 10mo 1774 [21 Oct 1774], along with his wife Judeth and children Elihu, Humphra, Susannah, and Hannah.[5]
David was noted as a member of the Easton monthly meeting, residing at East Hoosok circa 1778.[1] Also noted are his wife Judith and children Elihu, Humphrey, Susannah, Hannah, Comfort, and John.[1]
David died 19d 11mo 1831 [19 Nov 1831] at Greenfield.[2]
