According to the Visitation of Essex 1612, Roger 'Appulton' was a son of Thomas 'Appulton' of Kent, Gentleman, and Joyce, daughter of Sir Robert Tirrell of Essex.[1]
Roger Appleton, Esq. married Anne Sulliard, daughter of Sir John Sulliard, Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, Burgess of Dunwich & Hindon and Anne Andrews, circa 1479. They had 1 son & 1 daughter:[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Death
He died in 1529 at of Dartford, Kent, England.[2] He left a will on 12 April 1529; Requested burial in the church of Dartford, Kent.[4][8] His estate was probated on 2 July 1529.[4]
