He married Sarah Champ in 1793 in Bourbon County, Kentucky..[2] Their children were Gensey, Suppish (m), Sina and Robert.[3]

Notes

A timeline supplied on Nicholas' profile on Family Search is attributed to LPD Press and Rio Grande Books, https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/memories/9FM9-J45. We know there was an early gift deed left by Isaac Arnold to his son, Thomas and his wife Mary in 1737, saying the land was to go to their oldest son, Humphrey after their passing. Thomas dies in 1743 and Mary in 1753. According to this timeline, Nicholas marries Margaret Willis in 1753 in Culpepper County, Virginia and Humphrey Arnold puts up the marriage bond, inferring a close relationship between the two and the supplying the likelihood that they are brothers. This same timeline gives his mother's name as Elizabeth Mary Jennings Hitt without supplying a source for her name. Names of children are being taken from this timeline with verification still needed. Timeline contains several bits of conflicting info, so primary sources are needed.

Mentioned in daughter's pension records.

Arnold-20251 and Arnold-5443 appear to represent the same person because: they appear to share the same spouse, Margaret. Arnold-5443 has a spouse with Willis as her name at birth; Arnold-20251 has a daughter named Margaret Willis Arnold. I believe the earlier birth date for Nicholas (ca 1737) is more the more believable.
