As a mark of appreciation of the services rendered by Sister Olga Aroa to the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, a social and dance arranged by the entertainment committee of the society was held in the New Metropole Cabaret last night. Sister Aroa, who is leaving shortly to take up a nursing position in Christchurch, has been tutor sister to the Red Cross Society in Auckland for this last year.

Mrs Olga Johnson, formerly Sister Aroa, will return to Christchurch from Auckland early next week to take up the position of theatre sister at the Christchurch Hospital, a post she held before her marriage. Her husband is now on active service and Mrs Johnson has done much useful work in Auckland for the Red Cross Society, by whom she was entertained at a farewell party yesterday.
