Kate Arthy was born on 2nd January 1878 at Stratford, Essex, England. She was the second daughter of Henry Arthy and Elizabeth Attfield.[1]
She migrated to Queensland, Australia with her parents and siblings in 1882, where her parents established a dairy herd at Christmas Creek, south of Beaudesert in the border ranges.
She passed away, unmarried, on 29th July 1959 at Queensland.[2]
