He was born on 09 Jan 1914 in Wyoming, USA and was the son of Ida Victoria (Hatch) and Daniel Ferguson Asay.

Virl Hatch first Asay married on 21 Oct 1937 in Yellowstone County, Montana, USA to Lois L. Bassett [1] (1911-1997).

Virl Hatch Asay married secondly on 01 Sep 1950 in Billings, Yellowstone County, Montana, USA to Beulah Mae Roth [2] (1925-2018).

He passed away on 07 Dec 1990 and was buried at Mennonite Cemetery in Chappell, Deuel County, Nebraska, USA. [3]
