Biography

Phebe was born about 1845. She was the daughter of Isaac Asay and Phoebe Johnson.

Phebe was on the census with her parents in 1850[1] and 1860.[2]

She was living in her brother Amos' household in Washington, Mercer county in 1870[3] and 1880.[4]

Phebe married first Lucien Charles Hunt on 28 Nov 1882 in Chambersburg, Mercer, New Jersey.[5] They did not have any children.

She was with Lucien in Hamilton on the New Jersey census in 1885.[6]

She married second Apollo B. Carter on 24 Mar 1898 in Yardville, Mercer, New Jersey.[7] They did not have children.

She was on the census with Apollo in 1900,[8] 1905,[9] 1910,[10] and 1915[11] in Hamilton.

She passed away in 1919 and is buried in Colonial Memorial Park in Trenton, New Jersey. [12]
