Mercy and William had the following children, all born in Freetown, Bristol County:[7]
Abraham, b. August 8, 1743 in Freetown, d. December 20, 1824 in Freetown
Mercy died sometime before May 31, 1746. On that date, William filed his intentions to marry, second, Elizabeth (Macomber) Rounceville, widow of William Rounceville.[8][9][7]
