Consider Atherton (who had fallen into y^e Sine of Drunknes both formerly & now againe of late) was called forth before the Church (though not in full Com[m]union) to make his full acknowledgement of his sin, y^e which he did by writing being read unto y^e Church and he owned it."^[1]
