Benjamin Ellis Atwood was born on 19 Sep 1840 in Cape Sable Island, Cape Sable Island, Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia son of Benjamin Atwood and Deborah Swaine. Benjamin married Dorcas Nickerson, and Benjamin passed away on 24 Feb 1926 in Pleasant Creek, Barrington, Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia.[1] (Death reg also lists birth and burial date.)
