Ignace was born in 1729.
In 1758 a simple marriage contract was written up by notaire J. Fortier Montmorency with Marie-Louise Baucher.

…Ignace Avare who, this last [winter] led thirty young men to the end of the island where they stood guard. He stayed with them for eight days and relentlessly tried to convince them that no relief would come for the town. In short, he greatly contributed to corrupting this parish. [1]
He passed away in 1798.
