Biography
Alfred Ayres was born on 21 September 1866 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, son of Mary (McDermott) Ayers and John Lofts Ayres.[citation needed]
He married Ellen Charlotte Davis in 1892 in Victoria.[1]
Alfred died on 10 February 1957 at Tailem Bend, South Australia, aged 90 years.[citation needed]
