Biography
John C. Back "Goodeye" was born the son of Lewis Back and Margaret Roberts. He married Catherine the daughter of Solomon Back, SR. & Jane Ellen "Jincy" Fields. She and John Carson Back where married on June 24, 1852 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. She had previously been married to Mr. Day, which is why her name is listed as Catherine Day on her marriage certificate to John Carson Back.
