The Bismarck Tribune | Posted: Saturday, December 6, 1997 12:00 am GOLDEN VALLEY -- Robert Henry Backfisch, 81, Golden Valley, died Dec. 6, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST Tuesday, at Golgotha Lutheran Church, Golden Valley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Ida; four daughters, Janet Connelly, Golden Valley, Elaine Mitzel, Beulah, Bobbie Patton, Bismarck, and JoAnn Christianson, Mandan; one brother, Roland, Golden Valley; and three sisters, Eleanore Lindemann, Golden Valley, Ruth Gulley, San Francisco, and Florence Sasse, Arroyo Grande, Calif. (Seibel Funeral Homes, Beulah and Hazen)
