He had thirteen siblings, namely: Selina, Clara, Emily, Mary Ann (Polly), Dinah, David, Esther, Frederick Charles, Charlotte, Laban, Silas, Arthur John, and Ida. He died on 05 Jun 1940^[2] in Ulmarra, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 34, he married Grace Eva Foster, daughter of Frank Foster and Grace Elizabeth Secomb, on 27 Mar 1901^[3] in Ulmarra, New South Wales, Australia.
