Biography

Jane Furman (née Baisley) was born on 22 May 1799 in Haverstraw, Rockland, New York.

She married Benjamin Furman, a veteran of the War of 1812, on 1 April 1820 in Haverstraw. Together they had at least eight children. They moved to Perinton, Monroe, New York sometime around 1834, which is where her and Benjamin would spend the rest of their lives.

Jane died on 25 March 1874 in Perinton and is buried there in Elmwood Cemetery.
