On 20 Apr. 1736, Moses Bailey “of Rowley, MA” purchased real estate in Lancaster, MA from his step-brother Shubael Bailey.[2]
On 19 April 1740, intentions of marriage were published in Lancaster, MA for Moses Bailey and Mary Houghton.[3] Moses and Mary had four children, born at Lancaster, MA:
Sarah, b. 4 Apr. 1742; bap. 1 Aug. 1742
Mary, b. 24 Jun. 1745; bap. 28 Jul. 1745
Persis, b. 2 Apr. 1747; bap. 3 May 1747; m. Solomon Goodale, and
Jonas, b. 30 Aug. 1750; bap. 23 Sep. 1750.
Death records for Moses and Mary Bailey have not been located. They were recorded as later as 1764 in Lancaster on land transactions.[4]
