RESEARCHERS: "Use this person at your own risk. I believe this to be our ancestor, several others do and some do not. I have no proof either way. He is on the LDS records as being Wiliam1st. father. I am leaving him here as well as his son Williams 1st without knowing for sure. Probably none of us will ever know for sure."

I'm a descendant of William Bailey Sr. I've started working on my family tree within the last year and like many others I've found this part of the tree to be cumbersome until I stumbled upon this site. I appreciate all work that was put into this section of Baileys and gathering all the documents. It has cleared up a lot of my questions. Thank you! I do have one question pertaining to William's parents. I see your note about the uncertainty of Palmer being William's father. Have you or anyone else gone to London or elsewhere in England to find further evidence? I have considered hiring an investigator(s) at some point to look into it, but if the work has already been done then I could consider this case closed. Please let me know. Thank you.
