According to Find A Grave, John H. Bandy was born in Allen Co., Kentucky in 1818. He married Unknown Blankenship and/or Camillla Cook. The 1830 and 1840 Federal Census records show him in Greene County, Tennessee where he died and was buried in 1850.

Note: Bandy died in 1850 and was buried in the Furnace Cemetery, Greene, Tennessee.
