Biography

Thomas was born about 1828. He is the son of William Banks and Elizabeth Banks.

He married Sarah C Chambers April 4,1850. They had nine known children. He served as a Pvt. Co. F, Calvalry Bn., Phillips Legion, GA Vols., received battlefield commission, awarded the Southern Cross of Honor by Annie Wheeler Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy.
