Janet was was born 30 Sep 1541 the daughter of James Bannatyne and Katherine Taillefer [1] . (Note she is called 2nd daughter)


She married about 1561 to Henry Nisbet. Henry Nisbet Burgess and Guildbrother by right of wife 2nd daughter of James Ballenden writer 23 Jan 1561-2 - [1]

The contents of her house and her personal possessions valued at£266/13/4d
  • She was owed rent for a house – 300 merks
  • Total of the inventory and debt - £466/13/4d
