Bildad served in the American Revolution with Captain John Brown under Colonel Jonathan Pettibone in the Connecticut Militia, 18th regiment.
In 1790 and 1800, Bildad lived in Simsbury, Connecticut. In 1810 he lived in Onondaga, New York. Bildad died there in 1816.
