Rufus married Susan Seagraves about 1888 Carter County, Kentucky. [1]

In 1900 Rufus and his family were residing at Olive Hill, Carter County, Kentucky.[2] Rufus Bare Head M 38 Kentucky Susson Bare Wife F 38 Kentucky Rose Bare Daughter F 10 Kentucky

Rufus Baier and Susan Seagraves were named as the parents of Alonza Baier who died 17 October 1983 at Madison, Anderson County, Indiana. Alonza was born in Kentucky and a retired brickyard worker. His wife was Verna A. Hays.[3]

Rufus Bair and Susan Seagraves were named as the parents of Willie Bair on his death certificate. Willie's death occurred on 2 March 1944 in Carter County, Kentucky. Willie was born on 20 September 1900 in Carter Co., KY. His occupation was machinist and his wife was named Martha. [4]

After Rufus' death his widow Susan married William McDowell. The death record of Susan McDowell[5] Susan died 4 Feb 1938 in Carter County, Kentucky. She was born in Johnson County, Kentucky the daughter of Joseph Seagraves and Elizabeth Johnson. Her age at death was 71 years, 8 months and 5 days.
