He is the son of Billy Barker and Katherine Taylor. He was born 31 January 1862 in Marion County, Alabama. Reported to have been a Justice of Peace. He was mentioned in an article about being an inspector and returning officer appointed to hold said election in Sizemore Beat, Lamar County, Alabama. John passed away 30 June 1927 in Seminole County, Oklahoma. [1].
