In the Leigh of Adlestrop Pedigree in the Visitation of Gloucestershire 1682-1683 it was recorded that Alice daughter of John Barker alias Coverall of Coverall, co. Salop had married Sir Thomas Leigh, Kt, Lord Mayor of London^[1]
