Hi Roger, just a quick ask of you to please consider joining the Barnes Surname Project at Family Tree DNA dot com ( FTDNAdotcom). They can sort out which of the 22 Barnes lines (to date) you belong to.

This is an oppertunity for you to learn of your paternal migration back in time. Thank you.

For two people who don't have Thanksgiving together, we sure share a lot of DNA: "278 common ancestors were found between Roger and Bobbie within 25 generations."

Hi Roger, I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!

I've been looking for a collaborative type tree that I could start. I have a far-flung family members who are not "genealogists" but want to help build their part. I look forward to the wiki experience.
