(30) Thomas Bartlett 4, born in Newbury Aug. 13, 1681. He was a tanner, and lived in Newbury. He married Sarah Webster of Salisbury Feb. 14, 1710-1 ; and she died Jan. 17, 1726-7. He died May 4, 1744. His estate was valued at £4830. He owned land in Falmouth (now Portland) and Narragansett Township No. I (now Buxton), Maine, and in Kingston, N. H. Among his local possessions was Deer island in the Merrimack river, which he bought in 1727.

(IV) Thomas, third son and sixth child of Samuel and Elizabeth (Titcomb) Bartlett, was born August 13, 1681, in Newbury, where he continued to reside. He was married, February 14, 1710, to Sarah Webster, daughter of John (3) and Bridget (Huggins) Webster, and granddaughter of John (2) and Ann (Batt) Webster. (See Webster, II). She was born December 28, 1685, in Newbury and was not living in 1732. Her husband was alive in 1720, and probably much later. Their children were: Israel, Tabatha, Enoch, Dorathy, Nehemiah, James, Thomas and Sarah.[3]
Richard Bartlett, a shoemaker, supposed brother of the first John, came in 1637, and died in 1647. His son, Samuel, married Eliza Titcomb, and died in 1732. His youngest daughter married the Rev Matthias Plant , who has left Massachusetts relating to his own time. Thomas Bartlett, son of the above Samuel, married Sarah Webster, and died in 1744. His wife died in 1728. Their children were Israel, Tabitha, Enoch, (who was the father of Hon. Bailey Bartlett, of Haverhill,) _Dorithy, Nehemiah, James, Thomas, and Sarah.[4]
